Overview
PING is an iOS app for sending notifications and Live Activity updates to your devices through a personal API endpoint. This policy explains what information is processed to provide that service.
Information We Process
- Device and endpoint information needed to route notifications, such as push notification tokens and your personal endpoint token.
- Notification content sent to the API, including message text, titles, URLs, action settings, urgency, and Live Activity fields.
- Basic technical data such as timestamps, request metadata, IP address, delivery status, and error logs.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to deliver notifications, update Live Activities, operate the service, prevent abuse, debug errors, and improve reliability.
Information Sharing
PING does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the app and API, including Apple Push Notification service for delivering notifications.
Information Retention
PING keeps information only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal obligations. Endpoint and device information may be retained while your endpoint is active.
When information is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Changes to this Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
